Håkan Persson
Founding & Managing Partner
Originally an auditor, Håkan has been working in Investment Banking for 20+ years. He has a MSc from Stockholm University and is a Certified Financial Analyst from Stockholm School of Economics.
He has extensive leadership experience after many years as Head of Research, Head of Corporate Finance, Head of Equities and Deputy Executive Officer at Penser Bank, and from establishing and leading Experia since 15+ years.
Håkan has a background from KPMG in Stockholm, Deloitte in Milan, Italy, Handelsbanken and Penser Bank in Stockholm, before founding Experia Corporate Finance Advisors in 2003. At Experia, he has been leading many sell- and buyside M&A advisory, capital raising, IPO, financial and strategic advisory projects.

Mats Ekelund
Senior Advisor
Mats has 35 years of project management, management consulting and finance advisory experience, mainly in the Nordics and in Europe, but also elsewhere. Industries of special insight are Automotive, Energy & Fuels and Transportation/Shipping sectors. As a freelance author, he has written for the Financial Times (Automotives) and has lectured at Universities and Colleges in many countries.
Mats has a customer focus and he is a team worker, where his leadership may bring new ideas from the draw-board to commercial products. Mats is also a home genealogist, a want-to-be author and spends Saturdays in a garage full of tools to beautify the homes of his family.
Mats has a MBA from Stockholm School of Economics.

Julius Telaranta
Senior Advisor
Julius has 20 years of entrepreneurial and business experience growing software and business services companies. Some of his experience includes being CEO of The Seasam Group, a digital marketing and IoT company for intelligent transportation systems and digital signage solutions. He also held a position at a director level in Cisco leading Nordic sales.
Julius is an investor and a board member of a number of startups and young companies in a diverse range of sectors.
Julius has a BBA in international business and MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Swedish School of Economics.

Josefina Rapaport
Communications Manager
Josefina has a degree in Journalism and Communication from Stockholm University. She recently finished a program for Financial Analysts at Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education.
With 10+ years at Experia,
during which she has been focusing mainly on communication and research, she is one of the most senior team members.
Josefina also has a diploma from Poppius school of journalism in Stockholm.
Kaius Telaranta
Analyst
Kaius has work experience in a variety of different fields such as investment banking and real estate. Kaius has an international background with a high school diploma from the USA and he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Law and Economics from IE University, located in Madrid.

Mika has been working in corporate finance, venture capital and transaction services for 15+ years. He has a MSc from Aalto University (University of Technology) in addition to a MSc from Edinburgh Business School.
Mika’s former work experience includes leadership positions in Tuokko Advisory Services, Translink Corporate Finance and in PCA Infocom Finance. Mika has experience in working with both large international corporations and SMEs on a broad scale of industries and has led various corporate finance assignments including, but not limited to, buy and sell side M&A advisory projects, corporate re-structuring projects and management buy-outs.
Mika has also a broad experience in planning and leading of due diligence and company valuation projects.

Kari Heikkinen
Senior Advisor
Managing director and excecutive positions (+20 years) mainly in SMEs in field of media & entertainment, ICT, ecommerce and professial services.
In addition Kari have worked as senior advisor and executive consultant in headhunting and management consulting & coaching.
Before entering Experia he chaired the board of a start-up in aviation industry. Kari also has experience of M&A both sell and buy-side, takeovers and company restructuring projects.
Besides this, Kari does both mentoring and coaching to entrepreneurs and young professionals, also on pro bono basis.

Juho Nuutila
Associate
Juho’s interest in investment banking was aroused during an internship in Ernst & Young’s operational transaction services team. Although the operational aspects of transactions were interesting to him, it was the deal-making process that fascinated him even more.
Juho is currently finishing his Master’s degree in Accounting in Aalto University. In addition to Accounting, he has taken studies in Business Law and Finance. In the Spring of 2016, he travelled around Asia and enjoyed the sun, while also completing his international studies in Singapore Management University.

Niklas Viitanen
Associate
Niklas started his career in corporate finance very early on in his studies at Aalto University School of Business, and now has four years of experience in the field. His studies are focused on Finance and Business Law. Niklas is now finishing up a Master’s Thesis on acquisitions and asset growth.
Niklas’s former work experience includes Tuokko Advisory Services and Translink Corporate Finance. He has experience in financial advisory, in particular company valuation, and has led many kinds of valuation projects. He also has experience of supporting roles in both domestic and cross-border M&A advisory projects.

Malin Almgren
Senior Advisor
Dr Almgren holds a M.Sc. in Chemistry from Stockholm University and a Ph.D. in Medicine from Karolinska Institutet (KI). With over 20 years in medical research, she has deep knowledge in several fields including genetics, immunology, neuroscience, and oncology including clinical trials and collaborations with industry. As an Assistant Professor at KI, she focused on environmental impact on autoimmunity and neonatology.
In addition to her scientific experience, she has a second career in Finance, having held positions as Director for Strategic Partnerships at a Swedish asset manager, and as financial advisor, supporting M&A transactions in the healthcare sector as part of our team at Experia.
Malins holds the position of CEO of Schain Research, a Swedish consultancy company specialized in health outcomes studies to support drug development.

Fredrik Lönnqvist
Senior Advisor
M.D; Ph.D; Assoc. Professor
Fredrik is an M.D, Ph.D. from Karolinska Institute with a broad medical, academic and life science industry background. His working life experience, spanning over 35+ years, includes clinical practice and research as well as 19 years in the healthcare industry.
Fredrik has international leadership experience from positions such as Medical Director at SmithKline Beecham, VP Clinical Science at Biovitrum (SOBI) and VP and Chief Medical Officer for Nutricia, including strategic portfolio management and bringing nine drug candidates and numerous nutritional products from discovery to the market. His therapeutic experience includes Metabolism, Cardiovascular, CNS, Immunology, Oncology, Respiratory and Nutrition.
Fredrik is still Associate Professor at Karolinska Institute where he did specialize in internal medicine and endocrinology. He has been reviewer for several journals including Nature Medicine, Lancet and Diabetologia.
